It’s incredible how we can easily create art on a canvas board and get to display it on our wall or on top of a desk, which instantly adds color and charm to the place. So just imagine how awesome it would be if you can tote around your artwork for everyone to see!
Canvas bags come in different shapes and sizes, and have a variety of uses–to carry around your laptop and personal belongings, to help lessen plastic waste with its reusable function for grocery shopping and whatnots, to store all kinds of items like clothes, books, homeware, etc. The list can go on and on. We use canvas bags for practicality, but we can also use their surface for creativity! Today, we’re going to be bag designers and adding our own stamp of creativity on a canvas tote bag using Chalkola Acrylic Paint Pens.

Steps:
- Lay your bag flat on a surface, and start drawing the base of your design using white paint pen (this is a great way to highlight the parts of your design that are in light colors). If you’re working with dark colors, there’s no need to use white for your base.
- Start adding layers of color to your design. In this case, the shading, details, and facial features. Acrylic ink dries easily so layering won’t be a problem or won’t cause delays due to long waiting periods for the paint to dry. Don't be afraid of using as much colors as you want. Doing so will make your bag design stand out even from afar.
- Once you're satisfied with your artwork, you can start using your bag right away!
