Darcie Denton, a young professional artist, decided to use her YouTube channel to demonstrate Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers.  Her channel offers tutorials on a variety of art-related skills from easy to challenging.  She sells her original artwork and prints on Etsy and Instagram.  At just 18 years old she is well on her way to making a good living selling her custom miniatures, pencil portraits, and paintings using acrylic, oil, and watercolors.  Darcie loves to experiment with new media so the opportunity to try Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers was a lot of fun!

Supplies required:

  • Chalkola chalk markers
  • Window glass
  • White paper
  • Damp rag
Darcie decided that her favorite creation with Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers will stay on her window for a long time! Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers After opening the package, Darcie inspected the 8 Chalkola Platinum Series 3 in 1 chisel-tipped markers.  She noted that they are child safe, non toxic, and water based to wash off easily from surfaces or clothing. Chalkola Platinum Series She then looked at the box of 16 markers that includes 10 bullet-tipped chalk markers and 6 gorgeous metallic pens.  She liked the simple explanations on the packaging for both sets of markers. metallic pens Eager to try the metallic pens, Darcie writes on the nearest available surface and is delighted with the shimmer and rich color of the gold pen. gold pen She finds that the color is easy to wipe off her hand and tries it a second time just for fun. white paper Before starting a project with the Chalkola chalk markers Darcie chooses some white paper so that she can judge the quality of the colors. yellow marker She decides to start with the chunky Platinum Series, a yellow marker with a 3 in one nib. marker nib After vigorously shaking the marker and drawing the ink down into the nib, she is pleased with how easy the marker is to use. purple chalk marker She does the same with the purple chalk marker the metallic pens The metallic pens are next to be tried. shimmer Darcie likes the brightness of the colors and how the metallic pens shimmer in the light. window Now it’s time for some serious experimentation!  Moving to her window, Darcie begins to draw a design on her window. flower She first tries a design incorporating a flower and various filigreed accents chalk marker off the window Not satisfied with her artwork, Darcie wipes the chalk marker off the window and prepares to try again. swipes with a damp rag After a few swipes with a damp rag the window is once again clear and ready to decorate. design Darcie likes this design better.  It allows her to use all the colors she wants, layering them one atop the other for maximum effect. colors run down By allowing some of the colors to run down the window she creates a beautiful effect. working with Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers Darcie really enjoyed working with Chalkola Premium Wet Wipe markers!
