This is a really great watercolor set. I love all the colors and they blend really well. I found them every so slightly “chalky” in appearance lol but that didn’t bother me.
I am new to watercolor painting. So new that I didn’t even know there were tubes of watercolors! I really like these tube paints. They are more vibrant, vivid that watercolor pan paints. They are also easier for me to control the degree of watery-ness, hue, tint, and shade. They blend very well with other colors and spread easily and as expected. The color on the label is very close to the actual color and the cap screws on tightly to keep the paint from drying out.This is a great set of paints for beginner or intermediate. Anyone receiving this as a gift will be more than appreciative of your thoughtfulness.
I've done flowers and landscapes and tried portraits, but I'm only fair to middlen, yet I do like to start now watercolor projects. These tubes of watercolor are great! I love using them! They are beautiful right out of the tube and watered down somewhat, they look beautiful on the paper and that's all that matters to me!

I bought a set of Chalkola watercolor paints through Amazon. These are some of the worst paints I’ve ever bought!
The colors are so faded they are virtually invisible. The pigment there is doesn’t mix with with water, so it can’t be reconstituted.
Very disappointed with this product.
